Detail Of West Bengal School Service Commission
The West Bengal School Service Commission was created under the West Bengal School Service Commission Act, 1997 which came into effect from January 11, 1997. The commission overlooks the recruitment of assistant teacher and headmaster/headmistress for the non-government schools of West Bengal. At present, the recruitment process is overlooked by the West Bengal School Service Commission . The State Government later on decided that the recruitment of non-teaching staff such as librarian, clerk and group-D staff including laboratory attendant, peon, night guard, matron in recognized non-government schools in West Bengal will also be overlooked by the West Bengal School Service Commission.
