- The Moscow Subway explosion that struck Lubyanka and Park Kultury stations has now a death toll that records 38.
Monday, 8 am local time – the 1st in a series of subway explosions burst out in Moscow at assorted stations. Russia’s Emergency Situations Ministry describes as of 10:30 PM PST Sunday that the suicide bombings death toll is at 38 and might raise 10 others injured.
The first explosion struck at Lubyanka station bringing the lives of 14 commuters and 11 people waiting to board the train at the local station.
8:30 am, the 2nd blowup struck the Park Kultury station bringing the lives of either of 12 to 15 people, according to various agencies . A Russian ministry representative said moments ago,
“The blast hit the second carriage of a metro train that stopped at Lubyanka, at 0756 (0356 GMT). There was no fire. Rescuers of theMoscow emergencies department and firefighters are now working at the site.”
