Too many outbound link decrease our site reputation on search engine. When we use rss feed to serve more information for user we automaticly made new outbound links from our site to rss source site.
If we remove the rss content link make that information useless because too litte information that rss feed provide in content. We can make the rss source disappeared and showing all the rest rss content when a robot visit our site but not when a human visitor visit our site.. only part from rss that you already setup will appears ( just show the rss title ).
when a robot visit the site, all information on rss feed and all number of items will appears, that make our site looks new everyday for robot depending from rss source feed. That also make our site have so many new keyword and probably one of them is on top google trend keyword.
I’m already do this trick on wordpress 2.9.2 and I don’t know is it working or not on another version of wordpress. The trick is replacing files from wp-include directory calls default-widgets.php with this one and then that miracle will happen.
Don’t forget to make copy your original default-widgets.php before replacing it, in case it’s not working. I can’t guarantee that the trick is work for you.. but it defenetly works for me, try to look google search chace for this site.. you’ll see the different. Don’t ask me how to replace the default-widgets.php on your site.. you’ll find bunch of that tutorial on the net.
